According to Patañjali’s definition, all practitioners of yoga are undergoing a form of therapy. It can be on a spiritual, mental or a physical level. In the practice of yoga, the therapeutic and meditative benefits are experienced through a progressive system involving asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing and energy techniques). Regular practice helps to restructure the body through anatomical alignment, timing and self knowledge (self diagnosis). To treat a musculoskeletal, physiological and emotional condition, we will often use props as a support to benefit from the postures in a safe and effective way.
Ashtavidya Yoga School is fully equipped with Yoga Chairs, belts, bricks, bolsters, blankets, wall ropes. We can offer you small group classes and private classes based on your specific needs.
